1 Scope and responsibility
Rigid Robotics Inc. ("Rigid Robotics", "we", "us" or "our") is responsible for personal information under its control. This policy explains our handling of information collected through rigidrobotics.com and related enquiries, including demonstration, business and partnership requests.
This policy does not describe processing within separately contracted products, pilots or services. That processing remains subject to applicable privacy law and any relevant service agreement or service-specific privacy notice. This policy does not authorise additional uses of customer operational data.

2 Information you provide
Our enquiry form asks for your name and email address. You may also provide your telephone number, company and a message. We receive the content of your enquiry and subsequent communications, and use it to respond, arrange a demonstration, discuss your requirements and manage the resulting business conversation. The form stores submissions in our website system and sends a notification to our sales team.
Providing optional details is your choice. Without enough information to understand and answer your request, we may be unable to respond fully. Please do not include passwords, payment information, sensitive personal details or confidential operational data in the general enquiry form. If you provide another person’s information, you must be authorised to do so.
3 Technical information and website use
When you visit the website, technical services and analytics tools can receive information such as your IP address, browser and device details, pages visited, referral source, approximate location, visit times and interactions with the site. Cookies and similar technologies can associate activity with a browser or device.
Online identifiers and browsing information can be personal information, even when they do not contain your name.
We use Cloudflare Turnstile to protect our forms from spam and automated abuse. Cloudflare processes technical signals, including your IP address, browser information and the website’s origin, to distinguish people from bots and improve its bot detection. 4 Cookies and analytics
The website uses technologies to support its operation and security and to understand how visitors find and use it. Cookies may last for a browsing session or remain until they expire or are deleted. Our website includes the following analytics technologies:
Google Analytics measures visits and interactions, including pages used, referral and campaign information, device characteristics and approximate geography. We use this information to understand website performance and interest in our content. Google receives information through the analytics technology. Microsoft Clarity collects website interaction and technical information to provide usage analysis, heatmaps and session replays. A session replay reconstructs actions such as page navigation, clicks, scrolling and pointer movements so we can understand usability and improve the website. Clarity uses cookies and similar identifiers. Microsoft also processes the information under its own Privacy Statement, which describes its purposes, including service improvement and advertising.
Google Tag Manager manages delivery of website tags. The information collected by an individual tag depends on the service it enables. A tag manager does not itself replace notice or consent requirements.
5 Your choices and consent
When you send an enquiry, we use the information you choose to provide for the related response and follow-up. An enquiry does not by itself subscribe you to a newsletter or provide blanket consent to unrelated marketing or tracking. Visiting this website or reading this policy does not replace consent where the law requires it.
Your browser may allow you to block or delete cookies and limit tracking. Blocking cookies can affect some functionality and does not necessarily prevent all technical or analytics data from being transmitted. Private browsing does not make your activity anonymous to websites or service providers.
Google offers an Analytics opt-out browser add-on for supported browsers. Microsoft describes privacy choices in its Privacy Statement and Clarity privacy FAQ. These controls have their own scope and limitations.
You may contact us to withdraw consent or request that we stop an optional use of your information. Legal or contractual restrictions may apply; we will explain relevant consequences. Withdrawal does not undo processing already lawfully carried out. Where we send promotional communications, you may use the unsubscribe instructions provided or contact us. We may still respond to your requests and send necessary non-promotional communications.
6 Who receives information
Our personnel and service providers handle information as needed to operate the website, process enquiries, deliver and store communications, maintain security and backups, and provide the analytics described above. Relevant provider categories include website hosting and technical support, form and email services, and Google and Microsoft analytics services.
We do not sell enquiry contact lists. Analytics providers may also process information for their own purposes as described in their policies; their role is not necessarily limited to processing solely on our instructions.
We may disclose information where required or permitted by law, to respond to lawful requests, to protect legal rights or address fraud or security incidents. If a business transaction involves personal information, any disclosure or transfer remains subject to applicable privacy law and appropriate protections.
7 Processing outside Canada
We are based in British Columbia, Canada. Service providers may process or store information in other countries, including the United States. Information processed abroad may be accessible to courts, law enforcement or other public authorities under the laws of those countries. We remain responsible for personal information under our control and for meeting the protection obligations that apply when we use service providers.
8 Retention and safeguards
Retention depends on the type of information, the purpose for collecting it, an ongoing business relationship and applicable legal requirements. Enquiries and related correspondence may need to be kept to complete follow-up, maintain relevant business records, resolve disputes or meet legal obligations. Analytics, logs and backups have separate retention arrangements.
Website form submissions currently have no fixed automatic deletion period and may remain in our website database until removed. Copies in email and backups have separate retention arrangements.
Personal information must be destroyed or made no longer identifiable when its purpose has ended and retention is no longer necessary for legal or business purposes. You can ask us about the retention that applies to your information. A request for deletion may be subject to legal retention requirements and the handling of backup copies.
The website uses HTTPS. We are responsible for taking reasonable measures to protect personal information against unauthorised access, use or disclosure. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure. Contact us promptly if you have a concern about information sent to us.
9 Access correction and complaints
Subject to applicable law, you may ask to access personal information we hold about you, obtain information about its use or disclosure, and correct inaccurate or incomplete information. You may also request deletion or withdrawal of consent where applicable.
Send your request to it@rigidrobotics.com with enough detail for us to locate the relevant information. We may need to verify your identity or authority. We will respond within the period required by applicable law and explain any lawful limits or refusal and the available review process.
Please contact us if you believe your information has been handled improperly. If your concern remains unresolved, you may contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia or, where federal law applies, the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
10 Other websites and changes to this policy
Links to LinkedIn and other external websites take you to services with their own privacy practices. Review their policies before providing information.
We may update this policy as the website, our practices or applicable requirements change. The date above identifies the latest revision. Where a change requires additional notice or consent, posting a revised policy alone does not replace those requirements.
