The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to describe how RIGID ROBOTICS INC. (“RIGID”, “we” or “us”) collects, uses and discloses personal information through its websites (herein after referred to as the “Site”) and with our products and services (the “Services”). By using the Site or our Services, you accept the terms of this Privacy Policy, as well as those contained within RIGID ROBOTICS’ Terms of Use, in full.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to the extent we process personal information in the role of a processor or service provider on behalf of our customers. It is that customer’s privacy statement that applies. We conduct such activities strictly in accordance with our customer’s instructions and pursuant to our contractual arrangements with the customer. If you are an end user or consumer with an existing relationship with one of our customers, you should refer to the customer’s website to understand their privacy practices and policies.
2. Voluntary Collection of Information
Any information you provide to RIGID ROBOTICS via the Site or Services is collected and stored for the purposes of contacting you with information which we deem relevant. This includes the information you may submit via contact or subscription forms, such as but not limited to your name, email address, company name, and phone number.
3. Automatic Collection of Information
In an effort to improve the quality of our Site, as well as our marketing programs, we collect and store the information provided to us by your browser and/or by Google Analytics, a service provided by Google Inc., when you view or use the Site. This may include the type of device you are using, your IP address, the type of browser you use, the website which you came from, the time and date of access, your geographical location, language preference, and other information which does not personally identify you.
A. Use of Cookies
We utilize cookies, which are small text files which contain an anonymous identifier, that we send to your browser and are stored locally on your device. Cookies enable us to collect non-personal information and keep a record of your history of accessing our Site as well as your preferences. RIGID ROBOTICS may use both session cookies, which expire when you close your browser, and persistent cookies, which remain on your device until you delete them.
B. Use of Google Analytics
RIGID ROBOTICS utilizes specific cookies to enable our use of Google Analytics to track and analyze your use of the Site. Our use of Google Analytics is limited to marketing and research purposes and aids in planning and executing our business and marketing activities. 6. PERSPECTIVE: RIGID ROBOTICS’ Newsletter
Should you choose to subscribe to our newsletter, known as ‘PERSPECTIVE,’ your name and email address will be used by us and MailChimp, a third-party mail service provider, to send the newsletter to you. You can unsubscribe from PERSPECTIVE at anytime using the instructions provided at the bottom of the newsletter.
If you unsubscribe, your information will be retained by RIGID ROBOTICS for the purpose of remembering your preference and/or contacting you for reasons unrelated to PERSPECTIVE in the future, and for any other reasons that you have consented to.

Our Site contains links to other websites with unique privacy policies which may differ from these terms. Those other websites, products, or services are governed by the privacy statements and policies of the respective third party. This Privacy Policy does not extend to any websites, products, or services provided by third parties. We do not assume responsibility for the privacy practices of third parties and we encourage you to review all third-party privacy statements prior to using third-party websites, products, or services.
8. Social Media
Our Site contains social media features, including buttons, links, and other widgets to connect the Site and the content on the Site to social networks such as Twitter, LinkedIn, and Facebook. Your interactions with these social media features are subject to the privacy policies of the third-party company which provides the feature. These third-parties may collect your information or send a cookie to your browser whether or not you directly interact with them.

We have implemented physical, organizational, contractual, and technological security measures in an effort to protect your personal information from loss or theft, unauthorized access, use, or disclosure.

RIGID ROBOTICS is a Canadian company with its head office located in Vancouver, BC. We expect you to supply us with updates to your personal information, when required. We will not routinely update your personal information unless such a process is necessary.
