Enabling “Precision or Selective Digging”

Precision or Selective Digging is to know exactly where the bucket is digging. This way mine can plan to selectively dig ore grades at different bench heights. Moreover bucket position can be used by any 3rd party system to tag the ore with the precision location to be correlated with blast or planning data. Arm geometry enables the loading unit to be analysed for movements. Applications include over-limit prevention, aggressive motion prevention, machine tracks protection, and automation.
